CEMS Technician
(no relocation offered and must have US work authorization)
Reporting to the Environmental Engineer the CEMS Technician will be responsible for operation and maintenance of the stack emissions monitoring equipment to ensure that the plant is continually in compliance under the current state and federal environmental regulations.
Qualifications
BS or Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
3 + years of industrial electrical / process control environment (1 year operating and maintaining environmental CEMS equipment)
Preferable cement process knowledge. Candidate should have strong HMI, PLC, and instrumentation background.
Excellent computer skills and the ability to communicate in an effective manner with plant management.
Team player who will achieve the goals of the organization through both internal and external personnel.
Strong process controls and electrical skills with emphasis on process optimization.
Competency in reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and P&ID drawings.
Proven experience in PLC Logic and programming, as well as in HMI systems and related hardware/software.
Ability to operate data acquisition/analysis systems and software
Ability to work effectively with other departments (maintenance & production)
Strong interpersonal skills, self-starter and detail oriented
