Assists the Yard Manager in directing all shop activities including the repair and maintenance of mobile equipment.  Directs such activities as overhauling, oiling, greasing, modifying, fabricating, machining, and building up of Company motor vehicles and plant production equipment. 

​​​​GED/High School Diploma Required
AA in Diesel Mechanics highly desired but not required.
Minimum of five years maintenance experience in repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment. 

• Specialized training in heavy equipment, air conditioning, transmission maintenance and related areas is required.  Continuing education in the area is required to remain current in the field.
• Ability to effectively communicate company Vision, Mission, and Values and align functional goals, KPI’s and objectives accordingly.
• Demonstrate communication skills that incorporate emotional maturity, active listening, clear verbal directions/instructions, collaboration, and team building delivered with professionalism and respect at all levels.
• Operate with a commitment to serve others by subordinating personal interests to the needs of those being led.
• Effectively demonstrate knowledge, integrity, character, experience, humility, wisdom, and discernment necessary to create trust and influence
