Electrical Engineer – Festus, MO

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for a cement manufacturing facility in Festus, MO. This position focuses on improving equipment reliability, reducing maintenance costs, and supporting electrical and instrumentation systems throughout the plant.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive and predictive electrical maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability.
• Provide technical direction to electrical and instrumentation personnel and contractors.
• Troubleshoot electrical equipment, motors, switchgear, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Support electrical maintenance activities throughout the plant and quarry.
• Coordinate electrical improvements, equipment installations, and capital projects.
• Oversee instrumentation calibration, testing, and equipment performance.
• Support plant personnel with electrical troubleshooting, training, and emergency repairs.
• Ensure compliance with MSHA safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years of electrical engineering or related electrical experience.
• Strong background in industrial electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment reliability.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Cement manufacturing experience preferred.
