We are seeking a Process Engineer to support process optimization and continuous improvement within a cement manufacturing operation.
This role will work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality and Environmental teams to improve plant performance, reliability, product quality and energy efficiency.
What You’ll Do
Monitor and analyze kiln, raw mill, finish mill and material handling performance
Identify opportunities to improve throughput, reliability and energy efficiency
Support process control and automation improvements
Troubleshoot process issues and participate in root cause analysis
Conduct process and equipment audits, material sampling and heat/material balance studies
Develop and review operating procedures
Support commissioning and testing of new process equipment
Participate in capital projects and process design evaluations
Train operators on process fundamentals and data interpretation
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related engineering discipline
2–5 years of process, production or industrial manufacturing experience preferred
Cement or heavy industrial manufacturing experience is a plus
Understanding of thermodynamics, combustion, heat transfer and process optimization
Familiarity with PLC, DCS, HMI and industrial process control systems
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work effectively with Operations, Maintenance, Quality and Environmental teams
