Production Supervisor
Production Supervisor – Cape Girardeau, MO
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead shift operations at a cement manufacturing facility in Cape Girardeau, MO.
This role is responsible for safely coordinating daily production activities, leading operators and working closely with maintenance to keep the plant operating efficiently and reliably.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily production operations including kiln, raw mill, finish mill, material handling and cement shipping.
Lead control room operators and field personnel during shift operations.
Ensure safe work practices and compliance with plant safety procedures.
Monitor process conditions and respond to equipment issues, alarms and process upsets.
Coordinate with maintenance on planned and unplanned work.
Support production, quality, throughput and energy targets.
Communicate operating conditions, issues and priorities during shift handoffs.
Train and develop operators while reinforcing plant procedures and expectations.
Support environmental and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in cement manufacturing, process operations or a similar heavy industrial environment.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
Knowledge of kiln, raw mill, finish mill and material handling operations.
Experience with DCS, PLC, SCADA, HMI or similar process control systems.
Strong troubleshooting, decision-making and communication skills.
High school diploma or GED required; technical education preferred.
Must be willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime as required.
