Technical Sales Representative
Reports To: Director of Commercial

Position Summary
The Technical Sales Representative is responsible for driving profitable sales growth and providing technical expertise to assigned customers. This role combines business technical consulting to support the successful use of the company's cements.

The ideal candidate will optimize concrete performance through mix design support, and serve as a trusted advisor to ready-mix producers, precast, manufacturing concrete products contractors, engineers, and other industry stakeholders and introduce SCM, cements, and slag.

This position works closely with Sales, Technical Services, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Service teams to deliver value-added solutions and exceptional customer experiences.

Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field preferred.

Equivalent combination of education and industry experience may be considered.

Experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years of sales experience in cement, concrete, construction materials, building products, or a related industry.
  • Demonstrated success achieving sales targets and developing customer relationships.
  • Experience supporting technical product applications and providing customer-focused solutions.

Preferred Certifications
ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician – Grade I (ACI Level 1).
NRMCA Concrete Technologist Certification – Level III.

Additional concrete, construction materials, or industry certifications are a plus.

  • Knowledge of cement products, concrete production processes, and mix design principles.

  • Ability to build credibility and influence decision-makers at all organizational levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Established industry network within the construction, ready-mix, or cement sectors preferred.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.image
Travel Requirements
  • Travel throughout the assigned territory is required, including visits to customer facilities, construction sites, and company locations.
  • Occasional overnight travel and attendance at industry conferences, training programs, and corporate meetings may be required
