Contract - Project Based - On-Site (9 - 5 M - F)

What You Will Do:
You will lead critical accounting activities including month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting while ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies. This role partners cross-functionally to support audits, analyze financial results, and improve processes that drive efficiency and accuracy. You’ll also take ownership of complex accounting areas, assist with internal controls, and contribute to special projects that support strategic initiatives.

We’d Love to Hear from People With:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience 
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles 
• Experience with general ledger functions, reconciliations, and month-end close 
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• DOE expense reimbursement 
• CAS Cost Accounting 
• Ability to obtain (or already possess) a “Q” clearance

A Successful Candidate Brings:

• CPA certification or progress toward certification 
• Experience in a Construction Accounting, manufacturing, energy, or regulated industry 
• Familiarity with internal controls frameworks
