Electrical and controls project managers design and integrate mechanical components, electronic sensors, actuators, and control systems to create innovative and intelligent machines or systems and manage power delivery systems to different components. They ensure that all components work together seamlessly to achieve the desired functionality and performance.

Qualifications: 
Must have 12+ years of related experience.
At least 5 years in the cement/lime/aggregates/mining industry is a must.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related field or equivalent experience
• Proven project experience in planning, designing, and troubleshooting control automation systems.
• Extensive demonstrated knowledge in Power Distribution Design, Automation and Network communications solutions.
• Proven experience overseeing project construction including mechanical/electrical equipment installation.
• Proven experience leading project start-up and commissioning activities.
• Proven experience in PLC logic and process controls with programming experience with any of the following PLCs: Allen Bradley, Siemens, Modicon, GE Fanuc, Automation Direct, Omron, etc.
• Proven experience in HMI or SCADA programming and configuration in any of the following software packages: Wonderware, Rockwell, GE, Siemens, etc.
• Proven project experience in electrical system installation, including cable routing, terminations, instrument/sensor installation, and motor testing
• Proven project experience in factory and user acceptance testing of electrical power distribution and PLC cabinets.
• Familiarity with ERP integration solutions and data management.
• Proven experience with network infrastructure planning including process controls systems, software data monitoring solutions, ERP systems and visual security monitoring systems.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Professional Engineering (PE) licenses preferred
• Highly motivated, with a demonstrated drive for excellence and taking initiative.
• Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
• Strong work ethics, willingness to do what it takes to get the job done right, efficiently and safely
• Capable of using critical thinking to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, suppliers and clients.
• Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives.
• Commitment to quality, accuracy and thoroughness.
• Strong organizational skills, multitasking, time management skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to analyze engineering drawings and prepare them when applicable.
• Ability to analyze Project financial documents and budgets and prepare them when applicable.
• Understanding multiple disciplines such as civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, piping, geotechnical and surveying is a plus point.
• MS Excel, MS Project and AutoCAD/SolidWorks experience preferred.
• Participate in team building activities along with socialization.
• Working knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines such as civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, piping, geotechnical, and surveying.
