The Onsite Payroll Manager is responsible for the accurate, timely, and compliant administration of payroll and select benefits operations. Reporting to Finance, this role owns payroll execution, related accounting, and regulatory compliance, while sharing responsibility for benefits administration in close partnership with Human Resources.
This position provides strong financial oversight, internal controls, and reporting, while supporting HR‑led benefits strategy and employee experience initiatives

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Business, or a related field

5+ years of payroll experience; benefits administration experience required

• Strong understanding of payroll accounting, compliance, and internal controls
• Experience with multi‑state payroll and benefits programs
• Hands‑on experience with payroll and HRIS systems ( ADP a plus)
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills
• High level of discretion and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) and/or CEBS certification
• Experience in a Finance‑owned payroll structure with HR partnership
• Benefits renewals, cost analysis, or vendor management experience
• HRIS or payroll system implementation experience
