Steel Fabrication Shop Project Estimator
Experience in structural steel, sheet metal, and custom fabrication for maintenance repair shop for medium to heavy industrial projects.  

Requirements and qualifications:
Engineering degree or equivalent estimating experience
Experience with $10 k up to $30 k (less than $1 million) projects
Minimum 5 - 10 years project estimation
Minimum 5 years working with structural steel, welding
Must be able to do take offs and cut sheets on AutoCAD
Must be able to do detailing work
Must be able to hit the ground running
 
Duties and responsibilities would include but not be limited to the following:

• Identify factors affecting costs, such as production time, materials, and labor
• Read blueprints and technical documents in order to prepare estimates
• Collaborate with the General Manager, Field Foreman, Shop Foreman, clients, and contractors
• Calculate, analyze and adjust estimates
• Recommend ways to reduce costs
